which shows the stars on the horizon at the location of the
Externsteine for Dec. 25, 3117 BC and June 25, 3116 BC according to
Starry Night Pro.

One can see how the sun rises over Hydra at the Summer Solstice
and below Aquila at the Winter Solstice. These are the
constellations represented by the front and back of Megalith 2,
which is nearly 38 meters tall.
