I assume by now some of you might have become familiar with this news item about the 11,000 year old megalithic temple in southeastern Turkey. This is 5 or 6 thousands of years older than any of the European megaliths or the temples of Malta. Would this have any astronomical significance or relationship to the European sites?

I also recall reading a book by Andrew Collins called "From the Ashes of Angels", in which he argued that the biblical watchers probably came from this region of Kurdistan, also thought by some to be the ancient paradisal land of Eden.

Take care.
